Keep the Ultimate Tools panel open, assign a shortcut and add supported actions through their menus. Organize slots into groups and pages. Right-click an action to rename its Ring label; right-click a group to edit it. Alt+Create opens Add Options; Alt+Duplicate or Pre-compose opens a name field. Create Group opens its own name dialog. Shared option values sync without hiding panel controls. Ring closes with its owning After Effects session.
Open the ring with its assigned shortcut or the ◎ panel button. Your saved groups appear around the hub.
The supplied layout contains Projects, AE Comp, Safe Zones, Create, Assets, Compositions, Your layer, Presets, Colors, two New group folders and Menus. Open a folder to browse its contents.
Search commands, effects and presets from the ring; select the required timeline layers before applying an effect.
Open the group list to find a folder without following its circular position.
Adjust scale and divisions, and manage your ring’s groups and commands.
Change shortcut positions or names and organize nested groups. Imported groups retain their saved structure.
Right-click a supported command or library item and choose Add to Ring, then choose its destination group.
Choose 4–12 sectors per page. Remaining entries continue on additional pages.
Resize the ring between 50% and 200% to suit your workspace.
Move between pages inside the current group. Backspace returns to the parent group.
Top-row numbers trigger the numbered actions. NumPad enters timeline time: integers are frames, a dot indicates seconds and a colon indicates minutes. Enter moves the playhead, or the start of selected layers. + / − supports relative changes.
Alt opens Add Options for a Create item, including a text field for Text. Alt on Duplicate or Pre-compose opens the optional name dialog; an empty name keeps the normal naming behavior.
Execute an action and keep the ring open for the next action.
Colors appear as swatches: click applies Fill and Shift applies Stroke. The anchor grid provides nine anchor positions as one ring control.
Close the ring and return to the working interface.

Use the nine-point anchor grid, align layers individually or as a group, and distribute their edges or centers. Selected Mask uses selected path bounds for the anchor target. Text alignment and reading direction depend on the text engine available in After Effects.
Use the visible composition-space bounds of the selected Mask or Mask Path, including layer and parent transforms. Multiple selected masks use combined bounds; feather and expansion are excluded.
Add all nine anchor positions as one interactive Ring control
Use the selected Mask bounds instead of full layer bounds. With to target, align to the mask on the first selected layer. Supports 2D layers and parents; mask paths are not changed.
When on, align the selected layers to the first selected layer (the target) instead of the composition. Select the target first, then the layers.
Treat all movable selected layers as one combined group and keep their spacing while aligning.
Add all alignment positions, including horizontal and vertical centering, as one visual Ring control
Run After Effects' own Center In View (Layer > Transform > Center In View) on the selected layer(s).
